The Hong Kong Festival Youth Wind Orchestra was founded in 2003 by our Artistic Director, Mr. Carl CHOI and Conductor Laureate, Mr. John KOLIJONEN. 

 

Hong Kong Festival Youth Wind Orchestra is a music group formed by young musicians under Hong Kong Festival Wind Orchestra.

 

We aim to provide a forum for young musicians in which to learn, share, utilize hard-won musical prowess, and foster creativity. 

 

By encouraging young, vibrant, talented students to co-operate with others having similar aspirations, we "graduate" lifetime interests in music, and nurture our musical leaders of tomorrow.
